3) “Valium” – MuteMath [10-13-09]. A spacey, organic jam by New Orleans-based quartet that appears on the latest 90201 Soundtrack.

4) “Mrs. Cold” – Kings of Convenience [10-20-09]. A Euro-version of Simon & Garfunkel, these (Bergen) Norwegians lay out a mellow beach-groove a la blended harmony duets and spinning acoustic strings.
