9. “That’s My Bitch” – Kanye West and Jay-Z [8-12-2011]. Gritty lyrics, bouncing raps that alternate between two rap superstars and harmonic refrains frontload this track from latest collaborative album.
10. “Lights” (remix of Ellie Goulding) – Bassnectar [8-2-2011]. A remix of the original indie pop track with larger electronica backbeats by outfit out of San Francisco.
11. “Wait in the Dark” – Memory Tapes [7-5-2011]. Smooth retro organ and vocals combine on this snazzy lead track off sophomore album by New Jersey-based alt-indie group.
12. “At Home” – Crystal Fighters [8-5-2011]. Folktronic band from Spain combines Basque folk instruments with heavy synths and lilting voices.
13. “Feel So Close” - Calvin Harris [8-22-2011]. Big, bumping dance track by Scottish artist, producer and music-mixer.
14. “Amor Fati” – Washed Out [7-12-2011]. Ethereal, synthy lead track from new album by alternative musician Ernest Greene off debut full-length album.
