1. “Somebody that I Used to Know” – Gotye [7/21/2011]. Soulful groove track by Australian electronic pop trickster.

2. “I’m on One” – DJ Khaled [7-19-2011]. DJ ringleader lines up cameo raps – Rick Ross, ‘Lil Wayne -- ‘tween mellow Drake refrain for chart-climbing track.

3. “Motivation” – Kelly Rowland [7-26-2011]. Soulful R & B vocals by former Destiny Child’s star ripple over haunting pop refrain with a cameo by Lil Wayne.

4. “Well OK, Honey” – Jenny O. [7-19-2011]. Lead song off debut EP features down home boogie guitar and a little lady with a message.

5. “The Adventures of Rain Dace Maggie” – Red Hot Chili Peppers [8-26-2011]. While the refrain is a little Disney, the meat in the sandwich is vintage Cali-Peppers, now ten deep in albums.
